James Edward "Jim" Twombly died August 3, 2024, at Leisure Homestead in Stafford, KS. He was born April 17, 1947, in Great Bend, KS, the son of Andrew and Ellen Francis (Franklin) Twombly.
Jim graduated from Salt Lake City High School (South) in 1966. He was an industrial engineer draftsman, and an artist, and won ribbons at Stafford County fairs for his work.
Jim was a member of the First Baptist Church at Stafford.
Jim is survived by many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and four elder siblings, Evelyn Louise Twombly, Albert Andrew Twombly, William Eugene Twombly, and Mary Ellen Twombly Bender. He also had two step-siblings, Dennis and Ginger.
Graveside service was at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 12, 2024, at Stafford Cemetery, with Rev. David G. Huisinger officiating. Arrangements were with Minnis Chapel of Stafford.
