James Peter Van Pelt, II passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the age of 72.
James was born in York County, Pennsylvania to the late James Peter Van Pelt and Naomi Anne Ruppert Carl. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Greg Van Pelt. James worked as a mechanic for a number of years, and he truly enjoyed his work. He had a passion for cars. He will be remembered for being strong-willed as well as being a hard worker.
He is survived by two sons, Bradley Van Pelt and James Van Pelt, III; five siblings, Cynthia Noel, Darrell Van Pelt, Ruth Van Pelt, Steve Van Pelt, and Andrew Van Pelt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The details will be announced once finalized.
