James Vanderbrink

VANDERBRINK, James E. "Jim", age 74, of Troy, MI, formerly of Lebanon, OH, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015. Jim was born on June 21, 1941 in Lebanon, OH to the late Jacob and Marie Vanderbrink. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1959 and then from the Ohio State University in 1967. Jim worked as a Human Resources Manager in Manufacturing for 39 years until his retirement in 2006. He was a member of the OSU Alumni Club of Detroit and was an avid Buckeye fan. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sue Vanderbrink; children, Beth (Richard) Vanderbrink and Cindy Vanderbrink; sisters, Janice (Richard) Gall and Joyce (Butch) Cates; numerous nieces and nephews; and close family friend, Wendy Blankenship. The family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 13, 2015 also at the funeral home. Burial in David's Cemetery.
