James Timothy Webb, 63, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025 in Lee County. Born on April 21, 1962 in Miami, OK, he was the only son of Freddie Melvin and Shirley Ruth Neaves Webb. He graduated from Hatley High School and worked for many years in the family business, Amory Marble Works. Most recently he was employed at the Hatley Tiger Mart. Spending time with his family is what he enjoyed most, especially his grandchildren. Riding horses, fishing, and rabbit hunting were among his favorite hobbies, and James loved a good meal and sipping on a glass of cherry Kool-Aid. He was a member of the Hatley Church of Christ.
A graveside service will be at 1:15 on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Hatley Cemetery with his nephew, Dustin Parham officiating. Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his son, Mack Webb, Hatley; three daughters, Heather Murphree, Pontotoc, Hanna Cranfield (Andrew), Pontotoc, Jamie Lee Stout (Christian), Pontotoc; his mother, Shirley Webb, Hatley; sisters, Frieda Parham, Hatley, Andra Parham (Mark), Hatley, Becky Webb, Hatley; grandchildren, Gabe McGloflin, Annalynn McGloflin, Leah Grace Murphree, Connor Cranfield, Carlee Cranfield, Waylon Stout, Wesson Stout, Nova Stout, Aubrie Stout, Paislee Stout, and Cayla Stout; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jennifer Gardner and Derek Gardner.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Pallbearers will be Keith Parham, Danny Parham, Gabe McGloflin, Andrew Cranfield, Connor Cranfield, and Christian Stout.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11 until 1 p.m. at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home.
