James Wight 87 passed away surrounded by family on 11/4/2024 at Brandywine Assisted Living in Brick, NJ.
He was born at Fitkin Hospital in Neptune and attended Neptune High School. He was a proud veteran who served in the US Navy 1954-1957.
He worked as a serviceman and ended his career as a supervisor for New Jersey Natural Gas Company before retiring in 1998.
He is predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years, Theresa (Libretto) Wight, and his sister Maryln Carr of Lakeland, Florida.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Richard Bormann of Brick, his son James Wight of Lakeland, Florida, five grandchildren Heather, Kristina, Jessica, Laura, and Mathew, and 5 great grandchildren.
Prayer Service is at 10AM on 11/7/2024 at Ely Funeral Home, Neptune, NJ.
