Wilde, James L.
WYNANTSKILL - James L. Wilde, 85, died Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Albany Medical Center Hospital, New Scotland Ave., after a long illness.
Born in Ypsilanti, Mich., he was son of the late Leslie Wilde and Opal Albertson Wilde and husband of the late Shirley Wilbur Wilde. He was raised in Ypsilanti, Mich., and resided in Wynantskill for many years.
Mr. Wilde was owner and operator of James L. Wilde Contracting in Wynantskill for 55 years, retiring in 2019.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Wilde, Longwood, Fla., and Daniel Wilde, Troy; a daughter, Janice (Robert) Miller, Wynantskill; two brothers, Maurice (Carol) Wilde, Castleton and Robert Wilde, Denton, Texas; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Bryan Wilde; and his siblings, Larry, Leslie and Sharon Wilde.
Funeral service private at the convenience of the family.
