James Lyndon Williams

James Lyndon "Jimmy" Williams, 64, died Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born May 6, 1961 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Walter Carroll and Marjorie Marie Grubbs Williams. He was a retired Hayslett Mechanical plumber and a member of the Battle Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, diamond painting, camping and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons: Shawn Williams of Stanford, Jamie Williams of Junction City and Anthony Williams of Danville; his lifetime companion Sheila Williams of Harrodsburg; three brothers: Carroll (Betty) Williams of Harrodsburg, Stevie (Darlene) Williams of Burgin and Mark (Deidra) Williams of Harrodsburg; four sisters: Phyllis Williams of Harrodsburg, Denise (Scott) Bradford of Salvisa, Lisa Garrison of Lawrenceburg and Rita (John) Elliott of Mercer County; eleven grandchildren: Austin, Evan, Hunter, Tristan, Gracie, Jentry, Destini, Maycee, Everly, Azzriella and Ivar Williams and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Kenny and Bruce Williams and two sisters: Judy Gail Williams and Becky Harmon.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Justin Fulton officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Abrams, Dustin Williams, Robbie Williams, Randy Williams, Tony Harmon and Devin Adams.
Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
