James Wilson, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on December 13, 1954, James graduated from Washington High School, where he laid the foundation for a life marked by dedication and love. James also had a deep affection for his 30-acre farm, which he considered his favorite sanctuary. It was there that he found peace and fulfillment, dedicating countless hours to hunting and engaging in various projects that brought him great satisfaction. His connection to the land and nature was profound, and this passion defined much of his life.

A devoted family man, James was proud to be married to his wife, Lori, for an impressive 47 years. Their commitment to each other was evident in every aspect of their lives, as they navigated life’s journey hand in hand. Together they created a nurturing home for their two daughters, Christen Corder and Courtney Wilson, who brought him immense joy and pride. James reveled in his role as a grandfather to his cherished grandsons: Bryce Clarke, Noah Corder, and Jordan Hendricks. His relationship with each of them was characterized by warmth, wisdom, and an unwavering presence that made lasting memories.

James was predeceased by his parents, William Wilson and OmaJean Wilson, whose love and support shaped him into the man he became. As he embarks on this final journey, his family finds comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to guide them.

James Wilson leaves behind a legacy defined by love, commitment, and proud fatherhood, reflecting the values he cherished throughout his life. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life October 18th, from 1:00 P.M until 4:00 P.M at the North Lawrence Fire Department - 4052 Alabama Ave NW, North Lawrence, OH 44666
