James Michael Wimple, age 74, of Adrian, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Born on October 24, 1950, in Tecumseh, Michigan, Jim was the son of Linwood and Patricia (Kronberg) Wimple.

On November 24, 1984, James married Karren A. Fuller. They shared over 36 years of marriage until her passing on January 28, 2021.

A true outdoorsman at heart, Jim found joy in hunting, fishing, canoeing, and tending to his garden. He especially cherished his time spent up north in Grayling, where he attended the canoe marathon each year. Jim also found joy in vacationing in Hawaii and playing the harmonica. His love for animals was evident in the affection he held for his Springer Spaniels.

To cherish his memory, Jim leaves his two children, James Collins and Christine (Bill) Wolski; two siblings, Ron (Sharon) Wimple and Deb Huffman; four grandchildren: Kelly Lynn, Sarah Jane, Sommer, and Billy; two great grandchildren, Lila and Aliza; and his significant other, Karol "KZ" Bolton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Linwood Wimple and Patricia Blevins, and his wife, Karen Wimple.

Cremation has taken place. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Maple Shade Cemetery in Onsted.
