James McArthur Wofford, 58, passed away on Oct. 22, 2024, in Detroit.
Born on Jan. 9, 1966, James was a cherished son, brother and uncle known for his artistic talents and love for music.
Throughout his life, he maintained a profound connection with his creative side, expressing himself through drawing and music. In his younger years, James was also an avid roller skater; a hobby that brought him great joy and freedom.
James is survived by his mother, Alice Mae Wofford and his siblings: Donna (Jamel) Gilbert, Gyona (Marlon) Richardson, Roshonda Wofford, Nikkita Wofford (Rocky) Willis and Kareem Wofford.
James also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss his presence dearly.
His father, James McArthur Wofford Sr., preceded him in death on Oct. 4, 2020.
James's life will be remembered privately, as per his wishes. In lieu of flowers or contributions, the family requests privacy during this time of mourning.
