James Zimmer Obituary
Died Saturday, March 11, 2023; age 59 years. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Shirley (nee Ringer) Zimmer, brothers Ralph and David Zimmer, brother-in-law Brian Matz and father/mother-in-law Anthony and Cecilia Dubiel.
Jim is survived by his wife Marnet (nee Dubiel) Zimmer, siblings: Marie (Vasil) Popov, Diane Matz, Janet (Steve) Palmer, Richard (Paula) Zimmer, Mary (Jeff) Turner and Alan (Lisa) Zimmer, sister/brother-in-law Kathy and Pat Madziar as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jim spent his entire nursing career at Advocate Aurora in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU), retiring after 37 years of dedicated service. He loved cars and was an outstanding cook.
Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 4800 S. 84th Street in Greenfield on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorials to the family or to Zilber Hospice, 1155 Honey Creek Parkway, Wauwatosa, WI 53213.
