Jamie Leah Abbott

Jamie Lee Abbott, age 44, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away suddenly and peacefully on September 1, 2025.

Born on October 30, 1980 in Baytown, Tx, Jamie was a devoted mother and daughter. At just 15 years old, she welcomed her first daughter, Heaven, and from that moment forward, motherhood became the heart of her life. She later gave birth to her beautiful daughter Raven, now 16, and her sweet son Case, age 6. Jamie loved her children unconditionally and fiercely, raising them with the same resilience and courage that defined her life. Her greatest joy was being their mother.

Jamie lived her life alongside her beloved father, her "Daddy," who was not only her dad but her very best friend. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and the family takes comfort in his words: "She moved out, and moved in with Jesus."

Though Jamie faced hardships and fought battles with addiction, she never let go of her faith. She spoke about Jesus through every season of her life and lived as a disciple-imperfect but full of love, grace, and truth. She often told her children they were special, but the truth is, it was because she herself was so special. Even in the hardest moments, she embodied the promise of 2 Corinthians 4:6: "For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God's glory in the face of Christ." Jamie's heart reflected that light, touching everyone she loved and inspiring them to carry it forward.

Jamie was a light in every room. Loud, vibrant, and impossible to miss, she had a gift for making everyone feel seen. Her laughter and wild spirit could be heard from across the store, and her heart was as big as her presence. If you knew Jamie, you loved her-and you knew how deeply she loved you back.

She is survived by her children, Heaven, Raven, and Case; her father, James Lewis Abbott and a wide circle of family and friends who will forever carry her spirit. She is preceded in death by Marlene Johnson & her grams.

Jamie's love, laughter, and faith will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
