Jamie Rochelle Block, age 24, peacefully passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 in her
home in Fair Oaks, California of Juvenile-Onset Parkinson’s Disease.
Jamie was born on January 6, 2000 in Folsom, California to Jennifer Notari and Daniel Block.
She spent most her life in Cameron Park, California where she attended Blue Oak Elementary
School, Camerado Springs Middle School and Ponderosa High School. Jamie truly lived life to
the fullest through simple pleasures and enjoyable activities. She loved traveling, spending time
with family, hanging with friends, playing and watching soccer, playing basketball, playing flute
with the school band, tae kwon do, swimming, writing stories, photography, singing in choir,
acting in drama, making up dance moves, and listening to music, With determination Jamie
stayed present in every moment with the brightest smile. She had an incredible ability to reach
people in a deep and positive way.
Jamie is survived by her mother, Jennifer Notari; her father and step-mother Dan and Jen Block;
her grandparents Richard and Lynn Block and Tom and Nancy Notari; her brother Jason Block
along with his significant other, Shannon Abe; her sister Jessica Mansfield along with her family
Mike Di Loreto, Sophia Di Loreto (niece) and Emmett Mansfield (nephew); her step-brother
Wyatt Owens and step-sister Bayley Owens; and her companion dog, Tammy.
A celebration of her and her life will be held for family, friends, and all those whose lives Jamie
touched at Lakeside Church, 745 Oak Avenue Parkway, Folsom on Monday, January 6, 2025 at
11am. Reception to follow. Per Jamie’s request, please dress in bright colors. She wanted a
“celebration” of her life.
In lieu of flowers, etc a memorial donation can be made to NorCal Make-a-Wish Foundation in
Jamie’s name.
