Jamie Compton Obituary
Jamie L. Patten Compton, 65, died peacefully on December 28, 2022, at a local hospital. She was born March 9, 1957, in Bar Harbor the daughter of James "Jim" E., Sr. and Carolyn "Cookie" (Dunbar) Patten.
She attended the Ellsworth schools. She worked for several years at The Hilltop House as assistant manager. She later worked at The Holiday Inn both of Ellsworth. Jamie managed the Rangeley Resort Inn, in Rangeley for a number of years. Most recently she was employed at the Harbor Ridge timeshares in Southwest Harbor. Recently Jamie volunteered at the Humane Society where she enjoyed taking care of the kittens.
Jamie is survived by her parents of Surry; three brothers, Putt Patten and wife Pam of Trenton, John Patten and wife Barbara of Ellsworth and Joseph Patten of Mount Vernon, NY; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Alison Moon who died August 14, 2017.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12-1pm, January 14, 2023, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin Street, Ellsworth where memorial services will follow at 1pm. Spring interment will be at Nicolin Cemetery, Ellsworth.
