Jamie Ann Doe

Jamie Ann Doe, born on March 4, 1977, in Maryland, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 48.

A dedicated IT Specialist with the Department of Defense at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Jamie was known for her exceptional talent and commitment to serving her country. Her career was marked by diligence and integrity, qualities she also demonstrated during her service in the U.S. Navy.

Away from her professional life, Jamie found joy in expressing her creativity through arts and crafts. Her artistic pursuits were both a source of personal fulfillment and a way to bring beauty into the lives of those around her.

Jamie is survived by her beloved husband, Chester L. Forehand, Jr.; her two sons, Benjamin L. Feick and Brian Doe and wife, Amanda and their cherished daughter, Amicia Rose Doe; Jamie's father, Leon Richardson and his additional two children and five grandchildren; Jamie's Grandmother Richardson and her children and grandchildren of North Carolina; Grandparents, Frank and Mitsue Valois; Aunt Judy and two others; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A special mention to her newest family, the Forehand's, Chester and Doris; their additional daughters, grandchildren and all of the family that pulled together to care and shared so much! Along with many people from all over the world that Jamie considered friends and family.

Her family and friends will remember her as a loving wife, mother, daughter, friend and colleague whose warmth touched everyone she met. Jamie's commitment to security to this great Nation, through her years in the U.S. Navy and then in various support roles in contracting, ending with the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in October 2025.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Altmeyer Funeral Home, located at 5033 Rouse Drive, Virginia Beach, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 p.m., where Jamie's life and legacy will be honored and remembered.
