Jamie Linn Phillips went home to Heaven on May 25, 2023, following a five-year battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Julie Linn. Jamie is survived by her husband Scott, along with their adult children Chris (Lisa) Phillips, Stephanie (Nathan) Nessle, and Angela Phillips as well as her seven grandchildren Andrew, Jenna, Joseph and Zachary Phillips, Noah, Leigh, and Rosamie Nessle who loved their "NaiNai" deeply. She is also survived by her two older brothers Richard and David Linn.
Jamie and Scott were high school sweethearts and were married in 1981. They have resided in Milford, Ohio for 30 years before recently moving to Loveland. Jamie loved being Mom to Chris, Steph, and Angie which, among many things, meant she was involved in countless activities around Ohio and around the world. As the kids got older, Jamie returned to the education field earning her Master of Arts in Teaching and worked in Bellevue, KY then Milford Schools through 2016. Jamie was not only an incredible wife, mom, grandmother, and sister, she was also a friend and Sister in Christ to so many women over the years.
She and Scott have been long time members of Faith Church, Milford, OH, where she loved and was loved by many. She is remembered as a friend who modeled what it looked like to put the needs of others above her own as she served, listened, and encouraged others selflessly. Her joyful spirit was infectious, as she spent her life loving others because she was captivated by the reality that God had first loved her.
She would encourage you to take time today to ask a friend to coffee, lunch, or go for a walk spend time with someone, because that is what she loved doing with you.
A service to celebrate Jamie's life and glorify the God who saved her will be held at Faith Church, at 5910 Price Rd. Milford, OH 45150 on June 3, 2023 at 3:00pm with a reception picnic to immediately follow on the church grounds.
Jamie, being a bone marrow transplant recipient, would also encourage you to consider joining the donor registry and learn more about cellular therapy at www.bethematch.com. (Links available at bottom of page)
In lieu of flowers, we encourage donations to Faith Church's Women's Ministry. Checks can be made to "Faith Church" with "Women's Ministry" in the memo line and sent to 5910 Price Rd. Milford, OH 45150.

So very sorry for your loss. Jamie was a high school classmate from Worthington class of 1976. She was always so kind and compassionate to others. May your loving memories keep you close. Prayers for your family.

Jamie was an amazing caring person, wonderful mother and grandmother. She handled her final years fighting the disease with such faith and grace with a glowing smile. Jamie was so inspirational and so appreciative of life. She was an amazing Christian and role model. She will be greatly missed and will certainly be at peace now in heaven. Creekside drive will never be the same without the Phillip's family. Hugs and prayers to Scott, Chris, Steph, Angie and families.

Our world will certainly miss Jamie's bright smile. I will always admire her friendly nature, kindness, and strength through adversity. I know Scott, Chris, Steph, and Angie will be comforted by many wonderful memories. Jamie was truly a wonderful person that we have lost far too soon.
