of Medford, MA passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at the age of 48.
Jamie was the cherished daughter of Patricia (Gillis) Roy and the late Douglas Roy, and loving sister of Joseph Roy of Medford. Many relatives feeling this loss are Aunt Sandy and Uncle Mark Cowell, her late Uncle Tom and Aunt Ellie Roy, Uncle Dan (Biscuits) Roy, Uncle Scott and Aunt Laura Burns, and her late Uncle David and Aunt Maureen Burns. Jamie will always be in the hearts of her cousins, Jared, Danny, Krista, Dana, Corey, Samantha, Johnny, Dougie, Nick and Charlie whom she loved dearly. Jamie also leaves her Godfather, Leo Iacopucci of Portland, Maine. The emptiness we all feel will never be gone, she will always be with us.
Jamie had a contagious laugh and a special sense of humor, it's what made Jamie, JAMIE!! She loved the 80's, it's music and making her videos showcasing the songs, which had nearly 1,000,000 views, clothes, movies, well everything about that decade. The 80's also brought her best friends into her life, Carrie Jenkins and Toni Capen, they were blessed to have a 40 year friendship and many laughs and adventures.
Jamie also was an avid NHL fan and loved to critique the games with others. Her knowledge of the game and it's players surprised many, especially men. She would stand her ground and never back down from anybody challenging her about a game.
She will be missed deeply by everyone who was blessed to have her in their life.
Services are private.
A celebration of Jamie's life will be held at a later date.
