Jamie Sinclair Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 14, 2025.
Jamie Michelle Sinclair (Littrell) passed away on February 25, 2025, at 55. Born in El Centro, CA, on March 14, 1969, she is survived by her husband, Richard Sinclair; children, Aaron & Vanessa, Tyler & Matthew, and Chandler; grandchildren, Kaline, Kazmir, and Karter, parents, Susan Camlin and Barry & Rebecca Case; and siblings, Tony, Greg, & Andrew (AJ) Camlin, Kayleigh Littrell, and Lyndsey Milburn, along with many adored relatives and extended family members. Jamie was a shining light to all who knew her.

A devoted educator, Jamie earned a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts, a Master's in Education from SDSU and a Reading Certificate from UCLA. Her 30-year educator career began as a kindergarten teacher in Westmoreland before joining ECESD, where she taught and served as a reading coach at five different schools. She later became the Curriculum Director and held leadership roles at ICOE before returning to the classroom and eventually becoming a principal. Passionate about education, "Mrs. Sinclair" dedicated her career to giving students the best opportunities to learn.

Jamie cherished her family above all. A devoted wife and mother, she never missed a school trip and coached her daughter's cheer team for 14 years. In recent years, she found joy in her grandchildren, attending every one of their extracurricular activities and sporting events. She also loved her bull terrier companion, Fiona, who even earned a spot on the family couch.

Jamie's unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone will leave a lasting impact. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on March 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Valley Christian Church in Imperial, CA, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM at the Eagles Lodge in El Centro, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jamie Sinclair Memorial Fund https://gofund.me/080c240a supporting CASA and other local causes dear to her heart.
