Jamie worked many years for Dixon Construction. He was a proud member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 1153 in Sylvan Beach. He had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing, or out on the golf course.
Surviving beside his parents, Ray Sr. and Barbara, are two children, Chelsey Champlin (Nate) and Jordan Smith; a sister, Christine Deeley; two brothers, Robert Walker (Ruby) and Raymond Smith, Jr. (Angel Skibitski); his girlfriend, Sheila Wheeler; three grandchildren, Amaya, Adalia, and Harmony; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, David Smith.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December7th from 2-5:00p.m at the Sylvan Beach American Legion.. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden NY 13316.
