Jamie V Zatz

Jamie V Zatz (Techter), of Houston, TX passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 29, 2023 at the age of 46.  She was born Feb. 26, 1977 to Janice (Brown) Techter of Bellingham, WA and William Techter (deceased). She grew up in Bartlett, IL and spent time in Washington State, Colorado and Florida before settling with her family in Houston.  Professionally Jamie worked for Chamberlain University since May 2011 with her most recent position as Manager of Student Life and Leadership.   Jamie is survived by her children, Ethan and Emma Zatz; her mother, Janice (Brown) Techter; her former husband, Aaron Zatz; her brother, Chris (Jackie) Techter; and countless others that were able to call Jamie their friend and colleague.   A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 12th from 4-8 pm at Integrity Funeral Care, 3915 Dacoma St. Suite E, Houston, TX 77092.  In lieu of flowers donations on Jamie’s behalf can be made to the Houston Special Pals no-kill animal shelter and rescue, found at https://specialpals.org/help/.
