Jan “Bugsy” D. Richmond, 74, of Sheboygan, was tragically taken away from this earth on July 4, 2023. He was born on November 3, 1948 to the late Richard and Elsie (Henning) Richmond in Two Rivers, WI. Bugsy graduated from Two Rivers Washington High School in 1966. After high school, he attended Lakeshore Technical College. In his younger years, Bugsy was known as the life of the party.
Bugsy was united in marriage on May 29, 1993 to Jane Shedal.
He worked for Paragon Electric Company in Two Rivers and later worked at Federal-Mogul in Manitowoc. He retired as a Quality Control Engineer from Heiden, Inc.
Bugsy enjoyed listening to music, playing with his dog Piper, watching classic movies/shows, going to concerts and feeding the birds in his yard. He was no stranger to sweets, he liked Amish Pies, Snickers, and peanut butter balls just to name a few. He loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. But above all, Bugsy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Jane; children Bryan (partner Kristine Utrera) Richmond, Becky (Joel) Kuszynski, Casey (partner Ashley McCabe) Vogel and Rikki (fiancé AJ Reif) Vogel; grandchildren Mariah Van Ess, Grant Van Ess, Isaac Kuszynski, Brett Richmond and Brady Richmond; sister Gail (Larry) Duvall; brother Dennis Richmond; mother-in-law Patricia Shedal; sisters-in-law Mary (Mike) Drossart, Tina (Mike) Slezewski and Terri (Tim) Enfors; brother-in-law Jerry (Barb) Shedal; and many other relatives and friends.
Bugsy was preceded in death by his parents, siblings and father-in-law Butch Shedal.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd. Sheboygan, with Pastor Warren Waddell officiating. I´ll miss you neighbor! It was adorable watching you walk your dog in the yard as your puppy was leading you. I´ll keep feeding all your birds! They can come to my yard.
My prayers and condolences to all your family.
Blessings,
Pastor Bernice Ingram
