Lois Ann E. Meyer, age 88, a former resident of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Tuesday September 23rd, 2025. Her battle with dementia is over, and she is finally at peace.

Lois was born on August 20, 1937 in the township of Liberty, Manitowoc County. She was the daughter of the late Martin and Ida (Borgwardt) Luebke. She attended Valders High School and graduated with the class of 1955. In June 1958 she married Donald A. Meyer; he preceded her in death on February 27th, 2005. Lois worked as receptionist at the dental office of Feider, Tiboris & Bistan DDS, (now Signature Dental). After retirement she enjoyed her part time gig as the dining room hostess at Town & Country Restaurant. She was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ in Kohler.

Above all, Lois enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends. She enthusiastically supported her children and grandchildren’s school activities and sporting events. Lois golfed in the Town & Country Ladies golf league, played in several bridge groups, was an avid bowler at Sopetto Bowling Alley in Sheboygan Falls, and served her community as a member of the Sheboygan Falls Jaycette chapter, through these activities she made lifelong friendships. On game day she cheered on her favorite Wisconsin sports teams, proudly wearing her Wisconsin Badger and Green Bay Packer gear. Lois was a proud volunteer for the PGA at their golf events held on the Kohler golf courses.

She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (Mark) Lichtenberg of Sheboygan Falls, three sons, Brian (Karen) Meyer of Sheboygan Falls; Scott (Ginny) Meyer, DePere; and Randy (Tammy) Meyer, Sheboygan Falls; her grandchildren, Allison (Ryan Murphy) Lichtenberg, Brendan Lichtenberg, Jacob (Abbi) Meyer; Megan (Nick) Stillings, Andrew Wolf, Jacob Wolf, Zachary (Ellie) Meyer, Dane Meyer, Hayley Schnell, Mackenzie (Sharat) Shekar, and Natasha (Terrence) Tolliver. Is further survived by eight great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Donald; her parents: Martin and Ida (Borgwardt) Luebke; her parents-in-law: Theodore and Laura (Olm) Meyer; her sister and brother-in-law Lorraine and Kenneth Knier, brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Merlin and Margene Meyer.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 2nd at Zimmer Westview Funeral Center, W2132 Garton Road, in the Town of Sheboygan. The family will greet relatives and friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. The family will host a celebration of life following the service, details to be announced the day of the service.

Lois’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Cameo House at Harvest Home Assisted Living facility, the staff of the Waterford at Plymouth Senior Living facility, and the nursing and support staff at the Sharon S Richardson Community Hospice for their care and compassion. A special thanks to all friends and acquaintances who showed Lois kindness during her alzheimer’s journey. In lieu of flowers, memorials to OccuPaws – Guide Dog Association, https://occupaws.org, would be appreciated.
