Jan Dodgen CROSS HILL -- Jan Elizabeth Dodgen, 54, of 106 Nye Drive, Cross Hill, wife of Rayford "Ray" J. Dodgen, Jr., died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at her home. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of Norma Teal Riley and the late Albert Davenport. She attended Newspring Church in Anderson. Jan loved shopping and spending time with her grandchildren and dogs. Surviving are her husband of the home; a daughter, Rachel O'Dell (Jeremy) of Ware Shoals; a stepmother, Linda Davenport of Greenwood; two stepfathers, Carl Riley of Ninety Six and Gene Downing of Arizona; five sisters, Laura Held (Jim) of Ohio, Michelle Weeks (Larry), Neece Nickles (Tommy) of Greenwood, Tracy Rowland (Terry) of Greenwood, and Donna Matthews (Houston) of Ninety Six; a brother, Kenny Downing (Jean) of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Raven, Ethan, Kylee, and Jayden O'Dell; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Davenport. Services will be held at 12 noon on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will be held at Oakbrook Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jamey Crawford, Jim Held, Bobby Grogan, Josh Medlin, Justin Henderson, Nick Adams and Chris Chrisley. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday at the funeral home.
