Jan Kuligowski

1948 - 2025

Jan Kuligowski, 77, of Derry, NH, passed away Friday May 2, 2025, in the Derry Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, Derry, NH. He was born on May 2, 1948, in Rapid City, SD, and was the son of the late Stanley and Phyllis (Johnson) Kuligowski. Jan graduated from Farmington High School in Farmington, NH then later received his master's degree in history and philosophy from UNH. He worked for over 30 years at Western Electric, now known as AT & T. He also lived for 14 years in Florida working in security before moving back to NH upon his retirement. He loved computers, watching old movies, and was well read. Jan was a dog lover and enjoyed spending time at the local dog park where he made many friends.

He is survived by his sister, Stephanie Kuligowski, his brother, Stanley F. Kuligowski, Jr., six nephews, Kevin Grealish, Bruce Campbell Jr., Travis Campbell, Lukas Kuligowski, Stefan Kuligowski and Stanley Kuligowski III, as well as great nieces, great nephews and extended family.

Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Derry Parks and Recreation Department, 31 West Broadway, Derry, NH 03038, earmark for the Derry Dog Park.
