Jan Nack Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 23, 2024.
Jan Nack, Age 83 of Big Lake, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Quiet Oaks Hospice with her husband Norm lovingly by her side.
After retirement, Jan and Norm traveled extensively throughout the United States. They met their goal of golfing in every state. They were even able to golf in several Canadian provinces and Mexican states. While in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Jan caught a Mahi Mahi while fishing which was captured on video, making for a lasting memory. She also was able to fish on Mille Lacs and up in Canada. When they weren't pursuing their state to state golf travels, they also visited numerous National Parks. This gave them the opportunity to visit friends along the way, making their trips all the more enjoyable. Flower gardening was another of Jan's favorite summertime things to do.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents Frederick C. and Hazelle (Collins) Hamann; brother Darrell Hamann; and first husband Jack Leonard. Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Norm; daughters Jennifer Rogers, and Cindy Nack; granddaughter Olivia Rogers; and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3-4PM with memorial service at 4PM on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Faith Lutheran Church 11755 Sherburne Avenue, Becker, MN.
Please join the family for a meal and fellowship after the service at church.
Memorials preferred in Jan's name to Quiet Oaks Hospice, Saint August.
Arrangements entrusted to Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel ~ Monticello.
