I RECENTLY LEARNED OF PHIL'S PASSING. MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO ALL HIS FAMILY. I ATEMPTED TO CONNECT WITH HIM MANY TIMES OVER THE YEARS AND FAILED. I SERVED WITH PHIL AND HIS SCHOOL MATE STAN SMITH IN THE MARINE CORPS. WE WERE GOOD FRIENDS AND I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER GOING HOME TO PRESCOTT WITH THEM. LOTS OF GREAT MEMORIES. I WOULD LIKE TO CONNECT WITH STAN IF I CAN. RIP TO ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS IN THE CORPS.

Susan, Phil, John, & Kristen:
I am so sorry to learn of Phil's passing.
I managed EF Hutton across the street from him on both Camelback Road & Vista for 10 years. Although we were competitors for the same marketplace & personnel, we always had an understanding to not 'pirate' each others employees. It was a very sound and mutually beneficial relationship in which we often met & shared opinions as well as ideas.
Phil was a gentleman whom I always considered a friend as well as an ally. He was an individual who stood out in our profession.
He will be missed by many.

Dear Susan, Phil, John, and Kristen,
it was with great sadness that i learned of Phil's passing. Ira Ehrlich was thoughtful enough to point me to today's obituaries.
I have countless very fond memories of all of you and of Phil during those long ago years when we were starting out in the business. Hiking in the Grand Canyon, jogging on the canal, getting to use your pool in the summer and many pleasant social occasions.
Please except my heartfelt condolences. Truly, an old friend who will be missed.
