Jan Shepard, age 92 of Maryville, passed away peacefully on January 13th, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Walt and Lucy Clemens and her devoted husband, Kenneth E. Shepard. Jan is survived by her loving children: sons Randy Shepard, Rick Shepard and his wife Deanna, and Ken Lee Shepard, and daughter Tracy Pickens and her husband Rick.
She also leaves behind cherished grandchildren Derek Shepard and his wife Kelsey, Blake Shepard, Tyler Pickens, and Haley Wood and her husband Chad. Jan was also blessed with great-grandchildren Emma and Kellen Shepard, and Reese and Ridge Wood, who brought her great joy.
She is also survived by many dear friends who will remember her kindness and warmth. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff of TCC at Morning View for their exceptional care.
A private graveside ceremony will be held at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to New Hope Children’s Advocacy Center, 216 Southdowne Dr Maryville, TN 37801.
