Paula Lee Shepard was called home to be with the Lord on February 10th, 2026, after battling glioblastoma (GBM) for a year and a half.
She was born in Terre Haute, IN, on April 18th, 1971, to Lula Olive McNally, who preceded her in death.
Paula is survived by her husband, Dennis Lee Shepard, Jr., and their four children: Sierra (Andrew) Hoffman, Austin Shepard, Caitlin Shepard, and Zachary Shepard. Paula raised and schooled her children with devoted love and care, and she and her husband Dennis were best friends. She enjoyed reading, writing, listening to music, being outdoors, and sharing time with family and friends. She and her family enjoyed many trips around the country together, especially to Florida’s natural beaches.
Services will be held in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home on February 14, 2026, at 12 noon, with Pastor Tim Hewitt officiating. Visitation will be from 10 am to service time. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN.
