Jana Nicole Mancil

Jana Nicole "Nikki" Mancil went to be with the Lord our God on November 18th, 2024, at the age of 57. She was a 5th generation Floridian who was born in Fort Myers, FL. She spent most of her life growing up in Clewiston, FL before moving to Okeechobee then later Tallahassee where she last resided.
Nikki loved to laugh and enjoyed spending time with people, but more than that she enjoyed making others laugh. She always enjoyed catching up with old friends and making new ones. Nikki loved being a mother more than anything in the world and she took that job very seriously. She had a great love for food and enjoyed cooking for others as she would often do. She enjoyed the beautiful Florida beaches as much as she enjoyed traveling to little mountain towns.
She lived her life for the Lord and wanted others to know HIM as well. She was a member of Seminole Baptist Church in Tallahassee and always looked forward to Sundays at church. Nikki was a faithful employee of Talquin Electric and enjoyed the years she spent there with her coworkers that became friends. Nikki had strong patriotic values and loved this country dearly. Nikki's cheerful nature and her sense of humor will be missed by all.
Nikki was preceded in joining the Lord by her grandfather Christopher Columbus "Red" McGowin, her father, Edward Musgrave, mother, Helen Musgrave, and her "Daddy John" McGowin. She is survived by her only son, Daniel, and her brothers: Chris, Greg, Randy, and Darren, as well as her sister, Mindy.
Services will be held at Seminole Baptist Church in Tallahassee, FL on Monday, November 25th, 2024 with the viewing starting at 10 am and the funeral service at 11 am. There is a graveside service at the Felda Cemetery in Felda, FL on Tuesday, November 26th, 2024 at 1 pm. Todd Wahlquist is assisting the family with their arrangements (850-385-2193, www.bevisfh.com).
