Jane Renee Badgero “Janie Bell”, 59, of Rogers City, passed away peacefully at Brege House on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023. She was a kind, caring, and loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend that will be dearly missed. Jane was born in Hillman, Michigan to the late Ray and Betty Badgero. She spent the last years of her life at the Brege House in Rogers City where she was very well taken care of and content. Jane was the baby of the family and raised with her five older brothers. She enjoyed coloring, Mickey Mouse, spending time with her caregivers and her years with The Special Olympics. In her younger years she loved basketball and bowling. Jane proudly graduated from Pied Piper in 1990.
She is survived by brothers, Richard (Diane), Michael (Mary), Fred (Bonnie) and Jack (Lori). Nine nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Boyd Badgero.
Family will receive friends for visitation at Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A graveside service and interment will take place at Hillman Rust Township Cemetery on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution to The Special Olympics. Online condolences may be registered at www.karpushuntercares.com
