Jane Ann Benson, 79, of Resaca, Georgia passed away on September 20, 2023.
She was born on October 29, 1943, in Helenwood, Tennessee, to the late Claude and Hattie Bell Dolen Stephens. She is preceded in death by her husband, Coy Edward Benson Sr., brothers and sisters, Dester Stephens, Chester Stephens, Eugene Stephens, Ella Klancher, Mildred Caplinger, Dreamlee Whittemore, Billy Joe Stephens, Jimmy Stephens and granddaughter, Jennifer Elaine Baird.
She is survived by her sons, Andy (Lara) Benson, Eddie Benson, Bubba (Beverly) Benson; Sam (Kim) Benson; daughters, Claudia (Jimmy) Baird, Billie (Silas) Lowe; brother, Kenny Stephens; 17 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren. Other nieces and nephews also survived.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 noon until 2:00pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
