Jane Elizabeth Bowlin, 70, of Atlanta, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025.

Born in Atlanta on February 22, 1955, to George and Louise Glass, Jane was a proud Atlanta Rabbit and dedicated her service to education through her long career with Atlanta ISD. Her warmth and kindness touched generations of students and colleagues alike.

Jane found joy in baking, sewing, and spending time with her beloved Lunch Bunch. But her greatest happiness came from her unwavering love for her husband, Don, and the family they built together. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church Atlanta.

Jane is survived by her children: Jeff and Angie Bowlin of Richmond, Kentucky; Richie and Sarah Bowlin of Rison; Susan and Patrick Tomberlain; and John and Elizabeth Flippo, both of Texarkana. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to nine grandchildren-Abby (Dalton), Regan (Hunter), Jordan (Jared), Brooklyn, John Patrick, Jackson, Gabbie, Hutchins, and John Allen, and two great-granddaughters, Logan and Emre.

She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Bill Raffetto of Houston, along with their children and families. Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, Don Bowlin, and her parents, George and Louise Glass.

Visitation will be Friday, August 22 from 5:00-7:00pm at Hanner Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 23 at 10:30 at First Baptist Church Atlanta.

Interment following at Salem Cemetery in Bloomburg, Texas.
