Jane Clayburn Brinkerhoff passed peacefully on February 17, 2024 and returned to her heavenly home. She was born on November 25, 1934 to Frank and Edith Maria Clayburn in
Midway, Utah. She was the youngest of 10 siblings and looked forward to seeing her family again since they all preceded her in death.
Jane married Duane Brinkerhoff October 7, 1950. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on May 5, 1971. She was a devoted wife and mother of five daughters. She valued her membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and Duane loved to travel and were blessed to enjoy many great adventures. She worked as a waitress and real estate agent including managing several rental houses. She was also a nanny and worked in electronics.
After her daughters were raised, they moved from Crestfield Drive and bought property in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. They went on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the
Albuquerque, New Mexico mission, serving the Navajo people in the Four Corner region, which they loved. After their mission they built Jane's dream home. She loved her home and the time in Mt. Pleasant. Her favorite color was turquoise, which she showcased in her decorating.
She loved boating; working in her yard; keeping her home immaculately clean; reading and movies. Some of her favorites include the Sound of Music, Thornbirds, Gone with the Wind, and all Hallmark movies. Jane loved her friends at the Brighton House Riverton Care Facility and considered them an addition to her family, calling them "my peeps". They not only cared for her, they loved her, and she them. Jane loved participating in the daily activities, coloring pictures to give as gifts, and enjoying her meals with friends.
Jane is survived by four of her daughters: Dianne Brinkerhoff, Wendy (Brian) Wilcox, Sandra (Kirt) Larson, Suzanne Tanner, along with 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Duane Brinkerhoff, and daughter, Patricia Perry.
