Jane (Kaye) Morrill Call peacefully gained her heavenly wings August 7, 2025, at the age of 97. Born June 2, 1928, in Provo, Utah, to Jessie John Morrill and Bessie Clell Keith, Jane graduated from Provo High School and attended Brigham Young University where she met her eternal companion Charles Harvey Call. They were married on June 8, 1949, in the Manti LDS Temple. Jane's life was one of service. She actively sought the downtrodden. Her mission was to lift and be a light for others. She served in many church callings, as a devoted temple patron, and as a missionary with her husband in San Antonio, Texas (Spanish speaking). Serving in the Relief Society was a great joy for her. She was a mother to many, whether to her own posterity or to those who were drawn to her ever-empathetic ear. She'd never turn anyone away and ended conversations encouraging all to "be loved". She shared her light through music, whether singing with her husband or in a trio with Elsie Urie and Jean Griffin. Together they frequently sang their three-part harmony at funerals and were jokingly called the "Mournful Sisters". Jane and Harvey also loved to garden, and shared produce with family and friends. Jane's testimony of Jesus Christ gave her purpose, comfort, and understanding. No matter the trial, she determined that all would be right through Christ. She taught this to all who would listen, and her faith made a lasting impression on countless souls. We are thrilled thinking of her heavenly celebration, but our hearts will forever miss her love and comfort she always provided. Jane is survived by two sons, Charles Harvey Call, Jr. (Robin) and John Morrill Call (Sharon) and two daughters, Lurinda Kaye Amott (Donn) and Ondelyn Renee Call Bowman (Paul); 16 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy Tucker (Jane's twin sister) and Nancy Gwynn (Wendall). She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey, daughter, Marcella (Marci) Madsen, grandson, Charles Kenton Call, granddaughter, Alicia Amott Estepp, her parents, two sisters, and two brothers-in-law. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 16, at 11 a.m. in the Meadowlark 1st Ward Chapel at 1552 East 750 South in Spanish Fork, Utah. There will be a viewing at the ward from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 15, and Saturday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. The funeral service can be viewed on zoom at: https://zoom.us/j/99324854619?pwd=YXBrbzBiTTVnMm-IONjlFMzJWbGl1QT09 The family wants to thank our friends at the Aspen Ridge Hospice for all the loving care and support to mom and our family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Humanitarian Services of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. "Be Loved"
