Jane Antonia Chambers passed from this life on February 8th, 2025 after a short and courageous battle with glioblastoma multiforme. She was 54 years old.
Jane lived a passionate life of service to others. She was a lunch lady, a home care provider for the paraplegic, a foster dog mom, a school teacher, an EMT and firefighter, a spouse, a mom, and the best of friends, among many other beautiful things.
Jane was born to Robert Free and Madeline O'Donnell in Seattle, Washington. She spent her childhood in La Conner, Washington and graduated from La Conner High School. After graduating from the University of Montana, Jane put her studies in organizational communication to work as a events planner for a software company in Missoula, Montana, where she met her husband, Josh.
Jane and Josh raised their children in Missoula before moving to Maryland, then Wisconsin, and finally settling in Soap Lake, Washington.
Jane's family includes her parents, step-parents, siblings, and step-siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins. Jane's beautiful memory will live on in her sons, Jacob and Jonah, and husband, Josh. Jane was proceeded in death, by her daughter, Jaylah. Jane's selfless desire to care for others will be missed by the many lives that she touched.
A public celebration of Jane's life will be held on April 12th, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM in the Banquet Hall at the Bistro, 318 Maine Ave. E., Soap Lake. Please join us to honor and celebrate Jane's memory.

My heartfelt condolences for Jane's entire family, but especially for her mother, Madeleine O'Donnell. Saying that goodbye to ones child is perhaps the most difficult task in life. I am so sorry you had to endure this Maddy.
