Jane Corey Obituary
Jane Kathryn Corey, 74, formerly from Warren County, PA passed away Friday, May 9, 2025, in the home of her daughter Christina in the Town of Leon, NY while under the care of Hospice. She was born, November 5, 1950, in Warren PA of the late Andrew and Irene (Mahood) Musante.
Mrs. Corey was a 1968 graduate of Warren Area High School and earned an associate's degree from Jamestown Community College. Jane retired from Blair Corporation where she was a database analyst for Menswear in Warren, PA. Jane spent some time many years ago as a parent advocate in the Warren County School District. She had a passion for helping families of children with disabilities. She found her greatest joy in her family-cherishing weekend outings, games of cards, and every precious moment spent with her three grandchildren. Her warmth, wit, and wisdom will be deeply missed.
Jane is survived by two daughters, Angela Corey and Christina (Jason) Lyndsley of the Town of Leon (Conewango Valley), three grandchildren, Corey (Payton) Ellis, Abigail Ellis and Addison Lyndsley. She is survived by two sisters. Cecelia (Kopp) Michelotti of Arlington, VA and Margaret (Keith) Barker of Jacksonville Beach FL and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Clifford Daniel Corey, on July 3, 2018, whom she married on Augst 19th 1971 in Tidioute, PA and three siblings: Michael Musante, MaryAnn (Clarence) Simones and Christina (Paul) Holmberg.
Per Jane's wishes, no formal service will be held. Instead, a celebration of her life will take place on July 12th at the home of Christina and Jason Lyndsley. Arrangements are entrusted to the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Warren Cancer Center, 100 Lee Street, Warren, Pa. 16365, whose unwavering care and support became like a second family to Jane.

Cece, Margie and family--So sorry for your loss. Our teenage years were filled with great memories between the Musantes and the Pusateris. Jane had more attachment to Clarendon than just Cliff. Stay healthy as we age in our golden years.
