Jane Louise (Davis) Treadway

Jane Louise Davis Treadway, 88, of Mount Hope passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the Bowers Hospice House.

Born January 29, 1938 in Raleigh County she was the daughter of the late Russell Davis and Mattie Davis.

Jane was a homemaker and a 50 plus year member of the GracePoint Fellowship Church (Harper Free Methodist Church). In her leisure she enjoyed Reading and studying especially her Bible, playing the piano, she loved cooking for everyone, gardening her flowers, sewing, making crafts and quilts, and painting. She especially loved being surrounded by her family especially her grandchldren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchild.

In addition to her parent she is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years Gaylen Thomas Treadway; daughter, Lynn Montgomery grandchildren, Tina Montgomery and James Montgomery; sisters, Sis Briggs and Lucy Martin; and brothers, Jim Davis, Bub Davis, Gay Davis, and Lotus Davis.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving daughter, Brenda Fama (Ronald); 3 grandchildren, Erica Meadows (Gary), Kristin Vandall (Eric), and Conner Fama; 5 great grandchildren, Tyler Vandall (Megan), Lexie Vandall, Braydon Harper, Brinley Meadows, and Braxtyn Meadows; great great grandchild, Layla Vandall; and sister, Lena Horton.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at GracePointe Fellowship Church in Eccles, WV with Pastor Tim Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley.

Friends may call on the family one hour prior to service at the church on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
