Jane Eliza Devine

Jane Eliza (Motkowski) Devine, age 92, of Peshtigo, died September 4, 2024. Born January 8, 1932, daughter of the late Lester and Mary (Koller) Kniskern, she married Chester Motkowski, after his passing she married Robert Devine. Jane drove school bus and enjoyed gardening and fishing at the cabin on Beecher Lake in Pembine. She also liked playing the card game Phase 10, painting, and taking daily walks. She will fondly be remembered as always being there to support her family any way she could.
Jane is survived by her granddaughter Eliza Fiel; a daughter-in-law, Denise Motkowski, and a son-in-law, John Fiel; and one sister, Judy (Randy) Ehlers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; a daughter, Donna Fiel, and one son, Todd Motkowski; six brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home. Fr. John Harper officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.
