Jane Lee (Lintzenich) DiNoto, 76, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on March 22, 2025.
She was born on October 15, 1948, in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of John and Mary Louise (Funke) Lintzenich.
Jane was a graduate of Reitz Memorial High School in Evansville, Indiana. She earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana State University and master's degree from Indiana University.
Jane was a dedicated and beloved math teacher for over 40 years, inspiring generations of students at Charlestown Middle and High School. She also taught at Indiana University Southeast and Ivy Tech, further sharing her passion for education. Throughout her long career, Jane was known for her commitment to her students and her ability to make complex subjects enjoyable.
As a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Jane found strength and solace in her faith. She often shared her home with many furry companions. Her love for animals was well known.
Jane had a creative spirit and one of her unique talents was decorating the yard outside their home. With the help of her husband, they transformed the walkway into a stunning display that became a beloved part of the neighborhood's charm and curb appeal.

She loved to travel, frequently visiting lighthouses on her many trips. Jane was very proud to say she had visited 49 states and state capitals plus several countries.
In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Unfried.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Frank DiNoto; daughter, Jennifer Kaiser (Rob); sister, Joanne Stieler of Evansville; two brothers, Jack Lintzenich of Miamisburg, OH and Jim Lintzenich (Marybeth) of Mt. Pleasant, SC.
