In her own words, "I LOVED to be a teacher, help people, take care of my grandchildren, work with my hands, read and tell stories, be with my daughter and her family and travel, eat out, argue, dance and be with my husband."

Kim & family,
I am so sorry and saddened to hear of the loss of Janie. She was such a sweet, dear lady and I loved being in her classes at Stanley Middle and seeing her at church. She was such a strong woman, and I marveled at how she consoled so many of us when Clay and Chris passed. I have always admired her and the faith and strength she possessed. I know she will be missed greatly. Many prayers!

I had the pleasure of teaching with Janie at Stanley Jr. High . She welcomed me as the newest member of the English faculty with her time and listening ear. I appreciated her warm smile and words of wisdom. I am so thankful for her love and dedication to all those she encountered. Well done, good and faithful servant! May the Lord bless you and keep you.

Mrs. Dunsmore was an extraordinary teacher and a cherished friend. Her unconditional love made each student feel valued and understood. Even after all these years, her classes remain among my fondest memories. Despite the challenges she faced in her life, she persevered with unwavering strength and dignity. I held her in high regard and admired her greatly. She will be deeply missed, and I find solace in knowing that heaven celebrates the arrival of this remarkable angel.
