Jane E. Fenner, born on March 3, 1938, peacefully passed away on March 4, 2026. A beacon of love and strength, Jane touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else.
Jane is survived by her loving daughters: AnnMarie (Richard) VanOrder, Julie (Mark) Brown, Suzanne (Don Knickerbocker) Carter, Barbara (Norm) Crapo, and Eva (John) Galbraith; and half-brothers, George (Rai) Cole, and Jeffrey Cole. She also leaves behind her beloved son, Clifton (Linda) Fenner, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews who will carry her legacy forward.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, James Fenner, who was her partner in life and love. She is also reunited in spirit with her parents, Elizabeth Cole and William Wilbur, her great-grandson, Ryan Ellerson, along with siblings and cherished friends, Earl Wilbur, Geraldine Hopkins, and Gail Wilbur. Their memories, along with the countless stories she shared, will live on in the hearts of those she left behind.
Jane was employed for many years at the Dryden High School prior to her retirement. Throughout her life, Jane embraced the joys of family gatherings, always finding ways to create lasting memories filled with laughter and warmth. Her kindness, wisdom, and spirit of giving will be deeply missed, but her influence will continue to resonate within the lives she touched. Jane E. Fenner will always be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family and the indelible mark she left on their lives.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
