Jane Inboden, who lived a life marked by love, dedication, and creativity, passed away on September 17, 2025, in Lake Mary, Florida. Born on August 10, 1935, in Hartford, Connecticut, Jane was the daughter of Homer and Eleanor Ives. She graduated from Winter Park High School in 1953 and devoted herself to taking care of her home and children, embodying the virtues of a loving and nurturing mother and wife.

Jane's spirit was reflected in her hobbies and interests. She was an enthusiastic painter, often creating beautiful works inspired by the wooden crafts made by her beloved husband, Warren. Jane also enjoyed square dancing, which brought joy and camaraderie into her life. The memories she created while traveling as a family, camping, and cherishing their time at the cabin in Lake Placid, Florida, are lovingly held by her family. She especially treasured the trips to Alaska and Yellowstone, which she took with Warren, as they explored and experienced the beauty of nature together.

Jane was known for her kind, giving, and loving spirit, traits that endeared her to all who knew her. While she could be quite stubborn, this only added to her charm and the richness of her character. Her proudest accomplishments were being a devoted wife and a loving mother, roles she embraced with joy and commitment.

She leaves behind her husband, Warren Inboden; daughter Diane Cahill; grandchildren Jennifer Wren, Scott Wren, and Robert Brown, Christina Oliver, Natalie Mora; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Her legacy continues in the lives she touched throughout her journey.

Jane joins her parents Homer and Eleanor Ives, her sister Nancy Schomer, and her children Joyce Wren and Robert Inboden in eternal rest.

Visitation will be held on September 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Seminole, located at 335 E State Rd 434, Longwood, FL 32750. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with burial taking place at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, FL, at 1:00 PM.

Jane was a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to the power of love, family, and the arts. She will be deeply missed by all whose hearts she touched and will forever remain a cherished memory in the lives of her family.
