Jane Kruep Obituary
After graduating from Trenton Community High School in the Class of 1949, Jane married Theodore Kruep at St. Mary's Church Trenton on May 15, 1953, and remained together until his passing in 1990. Jane loved quilting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Anna Kunz (nee Bergdolt); her beloved husband, Theodore Kruep; one brother, John Kunz; one sister, Emma Nordmann; and three brothers-in-law, John Nordmann, Ralph Hull, and John Rathman.
Left to cherish Jane's memory are three children, Dale (Carol) Kruep of Henderson, NV, Don (Diane) Kruep of O'Fallon, IL, Mark Kruep of Sun City, AZ; four siblings, Marilene Nordmann, Isabelle Hull, Letty Rathman, Frank (Karen) Kunz; one brother-in-law, Virgil Nordmann; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Vince) Liuzzi, Laura (Dan) Farinella, Bryan (Renee) Kruep, Danny Kruep, Lindsey (Ben) Maas, Andrew Kruep; six great-grandchildren, Brayden Kruep, Owen Kruep, Lydia Kruep, Aiden Kruep, Quinton Maas, Vienna Maas; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Jane's honor to St. Clare Catholic School, or to a charity of your choice. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.schildknechtfh.com.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., at Schildknecht Funeral Home; 301 S. Lincoln Ave., O'Fallon, IL 62269.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at Schildknecht Funeral Home; 301 S. Lincoln Ave., O'Fallon, IL 62269. Burial will follow at O'Fallon City Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Schildknecht Funeral Home.
