Jane Marie Von Hagen Obituary
She was an avid reader, a wonderful cook and always had the best patio garden in her neighborhood. She enjoyed antiquing, collecting and was an artist and crafter who made many wonderful gifts for family & friends. She could always be found in the kitchen at family gatherings creating some delicious culinary delight while making everyone laugh and sharing a box of wine! She was a beloved sister, daughter and Auntie who taught us a lot about inner strength and bravery while she faced this illness (pancreatic cancer).
She had a wonderful neighbors and a close circle of longtime friends who enjoyed many adventures together through the years. Jane was always there when her friends needed and they returned that so many times over in the last months of her life stepping up to help family care for her and her beloved cats Annie and Elmo. Jane will be greatly missed by all who knew her, loved her and enjoyed her fun loving spirit and positive attitude.
Jane was survived by her siblings: Robert (Barb) Von Hagen of Perham MN, Katherine Von Hagen of Coeur d'Alene ID, Elizabeth (Joe) Thielen of Park Rapids MN, Jill (Jon) Ladwig of Alexandria MN and many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother John Von Hagen.
In her final days, Jane was cared for by the wonderful staff of the nonprofit N.C. Little Memorial Hospice house in Edina MN. If you feel so moved you can make a donation in Jane's name via the link below or by going to their website www.littlehospice.org.
