Jane Oberschmidt (nee Vollman) 96, of Southgate, KY, passed away peacefully on Thursday,

September 18 th, 2025. She dedicated her life to her faith, family and friends. She was a proud

graduate of the University of Cincinnati who enjoyed traveling, reading and rooting for the

Reds, Bengals and Bearcats. She volunteered at the Madonna House for over twenty years and

led a weekly neighborhood bible study that met for thirty plus years. She was preceded in

death by her husband, Ervin Oberschmidt, daughter, Janet Wyer, great grandson, Jacob Wirtz,

sister, Mary Ghory and brother, Rudy Vollman. She is survived by her son, Rick (Diana)

Oberschmidt, daughters Nancy (Mark) Vogedes, Cathy (Dave) Graf, and Carol (Ken) Anderson,

son-in- law Rolfe Wyer, brother, Jack (Ellen) Vollman, brother-in-law Tom (Debbie)

Oberschmidt, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and

nephews. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Memorial Mass to follow

at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4 th at St. Therese Church, Southgate. In lieu of flowers,

memorials are suggested to Madonna House, 25 Orphanage Road, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky

41017, or St. Therese Parish, 11 Temple Place, Southgate, Kentucky 41071. Special thanks to

Dr. Mark Schroer and the staff of the Seasons @ Alexandria for their compassionate care.
