A graveside service for Jane Robinson Phipps, 93, will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery, 601 US-80, Haughton, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Billy R. Phipps.
Jane passed away peacefully on Monday, June 2, 2025, in Bossier City, Louisiana. She was born in Poole, Louisiana, on June 29, 1931, and was a lifelong resident of Elm Grove and Bossier Parish. She was a devoted member of the Elm Grove Baptist Church. She worked as an administrative assistant for Thikoal, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, George T. Robinson and Alma Nolan Robinson; her loving husband, Ralph E. Phipps, and her nine siblings. She is survived by son, Billy R. Phipps, and wife, Linda, of Elm Grove, LA; daughter, Nancy Phipps Anderson, and husband, Steve, of Port St. Joe, FL; grandchildren, Jason Pope of Shreveport, LA, Erin J. Phipps, Lisa M. Phipps, and wife, Kendra of Bossier City, LA, Amy Rae Hidalgo, and husband, Kirk, of Elm Grove, LA; great-grandchildren, Ranger T. Pope, Courtney Pope, Emma Phipps, Levi Hidalgo, Dalton Hidalgo, Laikyn Durham, Makynzie Phipps, Dustin and partner, Tabby, Darren and wife, Becca, Cameron and partner, Hanna; great-great-grandchild, Anna Hidalgo, along with her adopted family, Pat and Thomas Marlar, Diane Smith and husband, Gary, their children, Hunter, Hayden, Hesten, Trever, and Carter, also Larry Marlar and wife, Halie, Taylor, Shelby, and Morgan.
Honoring Jane as pallbearers will be Louis Madden, Bobby McDonald, Len Willis, Craig Knight, Donald O’Neal, and Mike Humke.
The family would like to thank Bobby McDonald, Tina Madden, and Lewis Madden.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to the Elm Grove Baptist Church, 8180 Barksdale Blvd., Bossier City, Louisiana.
