Jane M Press, 82 of Exton, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at her home with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Roger H Press sharing 49 years of marriage.
Born in
South Bend, Indiana on June 11, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Aloysius and Bertha (Mroczkiewicz) Moskwinski. Jane graduated from Central high school with the class of 1961 and went on to attend Indiana university pursuing a teaching degree. Later upon moving to Ohio, she worked as an underwriter for CIGNA insurance company and for two Pennsylvania agencies following another move. Preferring a more active occupation she went back to school to receive her bachelor's degree in recreational therapy from Temple University. Several years later she went to Thomas Jefferson University receiving a degree in occupational therapy. She continued in this profession up until the Covid pandemic when she retired.
Jane was an active member of Saints Philip and James Catholic Church in Exton where she was a Eucharistic minister and lector. She was also a member of the small church community. She volunteered her time with the original Paoli hospice, Threshold of West Chester and Longwood Gardens. She was a member of Toastmasters International.
Always active Jane taught exercise classes at the Downingtown Senior center as well as classes at the YMCA in Lionville, primarily aqua aerobics and Zumba. She was a member of the Uwchlan Garden club.
In addition to her husband, Roger, she is survived by her daughter, Julie Wilber, wife of James Solnosky of Thorndale, Pennsylvania her son Patrick Wilber, husband of Lorrie of Tallmadge, Ohio, grandchildren Adam Solnosky (Bridget), Jeremy Solnosky, Kyle Wilber (Jamie) and Rachel Baroda (Ian) and great grandchildren, Atzi and Valerie.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, 107 N Ship Road,
Exton, PA 19341. Visitation will be from 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM prior to mass at the church. Interment will be private.

American Cancer Society.
