Jane Ann (Cartmill) Stevens, 82 of Independence, MO. (formerly of Branson, MO.) Growing up in Buckner, MO. passed away on January 21, 2026 with her daughters by her side.

She was born to Roth & Margaret Cartmill, attended Fort Osage High School til 1960 and Married Lee Roy Stevens. They were married for 51 years til his death in 2011. She retired from Silver Dollar City after 20 years of service.

Jane was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, infant son and son, Carl Lee Stevens 2025, daughter-in-law Christine Kemmer Stevens and brother-in-law, Robb Horne.

She is survived by daughter, Cheryl (Ed) Money and daughter, Christine Sue Stevens both of Independence, MO. Grandchildren, Rachel (Darren) Combs, Eddie Lee (Heather) Money & Stephanie (Mike) Higgins, Great Grandchildren, Dakota, Taylor, Paydon, Jordyn, Connor, Tynlee, Kyle, Autumn, Courtney and William, Great Great Grandson Josiah. She is also survived by sisters, Ann (Cartmill) Horne and Bonnie (Cartmill) Mike Martens.

Per her request no services are planned.

Private Family Burial at Oakland Cemetery in Buckner, MO at a later date.

Jane and I were neighbors and school mates at Fort Osage. I remember Her as the nicest girl in school. Always had a smile on Her face. I remember when She and Lee started dating. What a beautiful couple and everyone loved them. Bless the family and remember the good times.
