Jane M. Todd

Jane M. Todd age 83 of Sturgis, Michigan passed away Saturday morning February 24, 2024 at Thurston Woods Village in Sturgis.
She was born January 29, 1941 in Kalamazoo, Michigan daughter of the late George Edward and Helen Jean (Schmidt) Darlison.
Jane resided in the Sturgis and White Pigeon area her whole life and was a graduate of White Pigeon High School.
She retired from the Kirsch Company in Sturgis following 40 years of dedicated employment in the payroll department.
Jane was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sturgis, Captain John J. Kelley Post #1355 VFW Auxiliary where she served as treasurer for many years and the Red Hat Society. She volunteered her time for many different organizations over the years including the Sturgis Hospital Gift Shop Guild and Junior Achievements. She enjoyed boating on Lake Michigan and traveling, especially to Florida and loved time spent poolside at her home.
She is survived by her husband: Richard "Turkey" Todd; daughters: Cynthia (Brandon) Shamlian of Fort Myers, Florida and Pamela (Bill) Gonzalez of Houston, Texas; grandsons: Jason and Jesse Bernardino and step-daughter: Michelle (Brett) Hefferman of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Alan Darlison.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial services celebrating the life of Jane M. Todd will be held at a later date to be announced.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
