Jane Weststeyn

Jane Weststeyn went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 7, 2024. A lifelong Ripon resident, Jane was born to Stanley and Johanna Baker on April 6, 1942. She attended Ripon Christian School, graduating in 1960. She would always tell you the weather at Dordt was horribly cold, so she returned to Ripon and began a lifelong career in banking. She married Simon "Sam" Weststeyn in 1968 and they were blessed with two children.
Faith and family were at the core of Janes heart. Her strong faith could often be seen in service to others. From serving on numerous organizations to the extra help she gave her customers, Jane felt everyone was important and should be treated with kindness. She loved playing the organ for many years at Calvary Reformed Church and spending time with ladies in womens bible study groups. She enjoyed traveling, cooking & baking, embroidery, and a good Sunday drive. Always dedicated to her family, her heart was overjoyed at becoming a grandmother. She received much joy watching them follow in her footsteps of growing up at First Church and attending Ripon Christian.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her children Tim (Arlene) Weststeyn and Heide (Justin) Pedrioli; grandchildren Tyler, Emilia,
Naomi, Max, and Johanna; her sister Henrietta (Bill) Hale and sisters-in-law Audrey Hofman, Frieda Weststeyn, and Betsy Weststeyn; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Community Hospice and Cleos Home for their wonderful care and comfort in Janes final days.
